Prague Loreto
The Loreta is a Baroque religious complex in the Hradčany district, built in the 17th century as a place of pilgrimage.
Its central feature is a replica of the Holy House (Santa Casa), surrounded by cloisters and chapels. Another well-known element of the Loreta is its carillon — a set of bells that regularly rings out over the city.
The site is an important place of religious worship and one of the distinctive architectural landmarks of this part of Prague.
Satori Cities
On a Satori Cities walk, Prague Loreto is not treated as a box to tick. It is a place to notice vaulted air, quiet thresholds, and patient stone, to slow the body down, and to receive the historical context only after perception has done its work.
