Letná
Letná is a district of Prague set on a hill above the Vltava, known above all for its expansive park and one of the finest viewpoints over the city panorama.
From the Letná viewing terrace opens a characteristic view of Prague's bridges, including Charles Bridge, and the Old Town. It is one of the most photographed spots in the city.
The park is also home to a metronome, which stands on the site of the former Stalin Monument — one of the largest in Europe. Today Letná is a popular place for walks, meetings and events, blending history with a modern way of life.
Satori Cities
On a Satori Cities walk, Letná is not treated as a box to tick. It is a place to notice air above the city, to slow the body down, and to receive the historical context only after perception has done its work.
