Josefov
Josefov is the historic Jewish quarter in the centre of Prague, lying between the Old Town and the Vltava. It is one of the most important places connected with the history of the Jewish community in Central Europe.
Here you will find numerous synagogues, including the Old-New Synagogue, and the Old Jewish Cemetery — one of the best-known sites of its kind in Europe.
The quarter has retained its exceptional character and is an important point on the historical and cultural map of Prague.
