Klementinum
The Klementinum is a vast complex of buildings in the centre of Prague, near Charles Bridge. It began as a Jesuit college and for centuries served educational and scholarly purposes.
Its best-known features are the Baroque library and the astronomical tower, from which meteorological observations were carried out.
The Klementinum is one of the most important examples of Baroque architecture in Prague.
